An English bulldog in Japan has become an unlikely celebrity thanks to his unusual love for skateboarding
The two year old dog, named Bazooka, developed a fascination with the popular mode of transport after watching people ride skateboards in a park in Tokyo.
With his short legs and steady balance, he quickly learned how to move on the board in a way that looks surprisingly similar to human skaters.
Bazookas first encounter with a skateboard happened when he was only five months old. According to his owner, it was love at first sight.
After seeing someone riding a skateboard on the street, the dog immediately showed interest and wanted to try it himself.
Since then, he has become a sensation, especially online, drawing attention wherever he goes.
Bazookas owner, who works as a designer of clothing for dogs, decided to support his pet’s unique hobby. He created a special line of sportswear for dogs and even designed a custom skateboard adapted for animals that move on four legs.
Today Bazooka cruises through the streets of Tokyo enjoying the attention of passersby and fellow dogs alike.
